Restaurant Quality Meals in the Wild

Dehydrated food perfect for: backpackers, rafting and paddle sports, campers, backcountry hunters and anglers, cyclists, sailors, emergency rations

REAL FOOD

Not a science experiment. No corners cut.

What do we mean by restaurant quality?

Blue Goat founding chef Cassie Van Domelen is preparing legit small batch farm-sourced meals exactly like The Blue Goat restaurant has always done. Scratch cooking, house smoking, slow roasting and rendering and caramelizing—eking all the goodness out of our high quality ingredients and making dishes we’re proud to serve you.

We field test extensively to refine the best recipes and methods.

Blue Goat Farm’s rancher and custom butcher Dave Van Domelen supplies our local pastured meats.

Ultra-light, Zero Waste Packaging

Cheers to that!

We’re obsessive about super functional eco-friendly lightweight packaging for these meals.

Packed in an already-loved sanitized and adapted aluminum beverage can for convenient heating and eating—just add hot water.

Use it with our neoprene insulator. Eat right out of the can, which also works great for your morning coffee thermos. Rinse (crush if you wish!) after using. Don’t like the can? Recycle it at home, and pour food into your own thermos or baggie.

Did you know? Aluminum is 100% recyclable, and can be recycled infinitely without degrading. Time from your recycling bin back to new provisions on the grocery shelf is as little as 60 days.
