Bulgogi Beef Bibimbap

Korean-style beef barbecue on a rice bowl with bean sprouts, cucumber, carrot, shitake mushrooms, scallions, wilted chard, seasoned egg, and our irresistible spicy smoked chili-sesame bibimbap sauce.

Ingredients:

Blue Goat Farms eye of round beef, short grain white rice, bean sprouts, cucumber, carrots, shitake mushrooms, scallions, farm fresh eggs, smoked chilies, miso paste, honey, sesame oil, gluten-free soy sauce, rice wine, gluten-free fish sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, grated pear, sesame seeds, sugar, black pepper

To prepare: open can, discard oxygen absorber, fill the can to the top with boiling water (takes about 1 1/2 cups), and put the lid on. Wrap in a jacket for extra insulation if you wish. Wait about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

  • These meals work great cold-soaked: cover food with cold water a few hours (or up to 8 hours) before eating, then flash in a pan to heat through, or can be eaten cold.
